Sharing Artwork

Last month I was part of a Holiday Bazaar on base. Since all my stuff is still in storage (no house yet) I had to place an order with Close To My Heart. I know, how sad... Yeah right! Anyway, I ordered a pack of Mistletoe Level 1, Magnifique Level 1 and the Magnifique Workshop On The Go kit as well as some accessories and a 6x6 My Creations Memory showcase Album. I was pretty happy with how things turned out. I got a lot of inspiration from my fellow Close To My Heart consultants on our corporate bulletin board. Thanks ladies!

With the B&T from the Level 1 Mistletoe I created this cool gift card holder. I sold out of them, only $1.50!

One of my favorite products...

is the My Creations Memory Showcase 6x6 album. Its accordion style pages makes it easy to decorate; and its low price of only $3.95 makes it a great birthday or Christmas gift!

Anyone can make one of these adorable albums. If you think you're not "talented", think again. You can use several of our pre-printed products to complete your albums. I have made several of these albums using our My Originals card kits and a few sheets of cardstock. You can also use any My Reflections Level 1 kits and complete an album in a jiffy! Just cut your pre-printed 12x12 pages in quarters (6x6). Use the My Stickease to dress it up and voila, you have a great gift album for a friend or family member! Talk about faster, simpler, easier!!

Have been gone for how long???

Wow! I had no idea I had been gone for this long! Did you see the date on my last post??? OK, now I'll give you a quick update on what's happened on the home front.

We had received military orders to move to Virginia back in May. Things were running smoothly and I was getting stuff done for our upcoming move. Well, late August we received news that our orders to Virginia got canceled; and the fun began (not)! Between then and now our orders got canceled 2 more times. Uncertain times, but we finally got orders and moved! We are now at Beale AFB in California!!

We've now been here for a week and a half and we really like it! The girls started school last week and we are plenty busy looking for a place to live. I really haven't had time to create new artwork, since all my stuff is packed at a warehouse! I did manage to keep a bag with me with some basic supplies, I just haven't had the time or really gotten around to even open it!

I should be posting some new artwork soon (fingers crossed)! I just placed an order tonight for a craft fair I signed up for later this month! I can't wait to meet new people and this craft fair will be a great opportunity for that. If you're local, feel free to stop by and introduce yourself!

Many great things are coming with Close To My Heart, so stay tuned!! Our new Autumn/Winter 2010 catalog has beautiful product; and our new updated Summer Color Palette with 8 new colors is breathtaking!! I'm back from Convention 2010!!!

I had the intention of updating you with all things Close To My Heart while at Convention! But the truth is I was super busy with business classes, hearing all the new announcements, drooling over all the new products, make and takes and catching up with my friends!!! Fun crafting time with my baby!

Today was a really fun day. After laundry was done my youngest and I surfed the web and found a cute little gift card holder. She is my crafty one, so she immediately wanted to do it!!

I got some scraps I had from non-CTMH papers (oh no!) and some contraband tools! We did use CTMH inks and stamps!

Update on my move...

Here's the latest! Finally we got a house!! Is a lot smaller than what we had in California. It only has 3 bedrooms and a super tiny kitchen and small bathrooms, don't want to forget that!!

So far we have the living room/family room done, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and the kitchen done. I guess I can add the laundry "room" to the list, it's only a closet! My "craft room", which is really more of a corner, is coming together. The hubs put together my computer and desk and I've assembled my craft furniture, those little white cubes they sell at Michael's. Hopefully tonight we'll be able to finish this little corner 'cuz boy I NEED to scrap!!!

I should be able to take some pictures soon and get working on some artwork! I'm happy to tell you that I placed an order from the New Summer Idea Book! I can't wait to get it and start playing with all the new product!! I'll be sure to post some pictures of that too!!

It's been how long???

Wow! I can't believe that I haven't been here since the begining of the year!! I've been very busy moving my family cross country while working my Close To My Heart business!

Last week we moved from California to Texas! We drove for 4 long days and kind of boring to tell you the truth ; ) Not much to see except for dry land! But before we moved I was very busy holding 3 workshops every month. I'm going to share with you the beautiful pages we made!

Birthday Card Workshop!

I thought I'd share the Birthday card workshop I'm doing with the base's housing management group, Balfour Beatty Communities. I'm using the Caboodle paper pack for these adorable cards. The sizes are 3 1/2" x 8", 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and 3" x 3". For embellishments I used Colonial White Grossgrain Ribbon (Z1102), Twill Ribbon(Z1099), Vintage Edge Anchors Colonial White (Z1286), Bitty Sparkles(Z1263) and Metal Brads (Z1217).
