Where have I been!

Wow! It's been almost a year to the day since my last post! To say that I've been busy it's an understatement. Let's catch up!

We had a very active Summer, with a few trips with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2) and my brother's wedding. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Colorado on another trip with the AFW2. School started later in the month and shortly after we traveled to Colorado Spring one more time for the Warrior Games. There my husband competed in Shooting and Archery, were he medaled in Silver!

After attending the local Scrapbook Expo with my mom, we once again traveled with the AFW2 to Washington DC for a Caregiver Symposium. There my husband and I were the keynote speakers at the Caregiver Dinner were we shared our struggles and our triumphs and hopefully brought some awareness to key personnel on the "hill" that attended the event.

Christmas was a very nice break to spend with family! Meals were shared and presents were exchanged! The new year started with a busy schedule, archery for my husband and an amazing, well deserved family vacation! Hawaii was spectacular, relaxing and fun! I will share some of my pictures later on.

I am looking forward to a fun Summer spent with family! Maybe a short, little camping getaway?? Pool days and BBQ's perhaps? What are your plans this Summer? Share your ideas and I'll pick one person and send a freebie!!
